I think this is a very good guide for complete beginners to use and Halo: Combat evolved veterans. It covers weapons, combat, vehicles, campaign and multiplayer well and gives a thorough walkthrough on all the levels. The single player guide tells you the landscape: where to find weapons; where the enemies are; who they are; how to kill them and where to go. Multiplayer tells you all about the architecture of the vast maps and how to get over that annoying bridge to the tempting sniper rifle!

It gives in-depth information on where and how you could be surprised, and how you can counter that. It tells you which weapons do that: which enemies will go berserk; which vehicles can't run people over; and why destroying that towering scarab isn't as impossible as it seems! The only downside is that it doesn't tell you about glitches and secrets. I think that about wraps up the guide.

All in all, I would say this is an excellent guide for an excellent game.
