Word Pools

Walking along Anglesey’s coastal path I found the rhythm of walking and the freshness of the air encouraged all sorts of words to join me,  to come strolling along besides me  and I suppose I found a flow!

Coastal path poetry grew and grew and even the simple act of hanging out washing became a source of creativity and words.

Like the warm rock pools on the blissfully empty beaches, wordpools   began to flourish and ripple outwards, joining new words and old, harmonising, arguing and just generally dancing and having a time!

So much of our existence is really non-existence as we do not pay attention to our now. We are not mindful of where we are being too preoccupied with how we think we re rather than asking ourselves the simple question ‘where are we?’ And it is this question that gives presence to our present and allows our word pools to acknowledge themselves:

‘Bathed in this sunshine,

 Why do bin lorries

-always sound the same?

”If today

You can breathe all day,

And can feel the colours

As they fall….”

Wonder what they've found there in the rock pools?
