Today significantly involved the relaunch of Tusitala English Tuition and an improvement in my back pain! Naturally I rushed to the computer in order to try out both the back and Tusitala and ‘found again’ in the recesses of my memory this wonderful description and analogy by Virginia Woolf whilst writing Mrs Dalloway.
‘ …how I dig out beautiful caves behind my characters: I think that gives exactly what I want; humanity, humour, depth. The idea is that the caves shall connect and each comes to daylight at the present moment. Dinner!’
How brilliantly physical the image.
People are like caves, to others and to themselves.
And Tusitala is named after Robert Louis Stevenson. A writer who knew the value of a good adventure and a cave!

two bits of good news! love the clarity of the design, and glad back feeling good!
