I have just discusssed the GCSE Descriptive writing ‘challenge’ for students in my previous blog. Before I retire to read the Sarah Waters’ Novel,The Nightwatch, I wanted to add AN ESSENTIAL note to my question, about the relationship between ENGLISH TUITION and BETTER GRADES.
English Tutoring improves the quality of students ‘ thinking and therefore gives students far greater confidence in asking POWERFUL QUESTIONS about their writing and any texts they have to study.
This improvement has a DOMINO effect.
QUALITY QUESTIONS lead to QUALITY RESPONSES and BOOST GRADES and UNDERSTANDING leading to QUALITY QUESTIONS, CONFIDENCE AND RESPONSE.
English Tuition therefore boosts students not only academcially but also in terms of confidence in both a private and a public sense.
EMOTIONAL INTELLIGENCE is a much bandied about term, but I have seen students REALLY BLOSSOM with English Tuition in ways that parents and schools notice and comment upon.
POWERFUL QUESTIONS lift the MIND into far more ADVENTUROUS, ANALYTICALLY AND CREATIVELY EXCITING PLACES!
